FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 10/21/16
LANCASTER, N.Y. – The 10th Annual Buffalo’s Biggest Halloween Bash, hosted by Shredd and Ragan from 103.3 The Edge, takes place on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at the Connecticut Street Armory, with proceeds to benefit the Variety Club of Buffalo. Doors open at 6 pm, tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
With a $2,500 grand prize for Best Costume and $250 prizes each for Creepiest Clown, Best Hillary and Best Donald, the party draws a large, festive crowd and will provide great visuals for Halloween stories. The best time for a camera shot is around 9 pm. Variety Club officials and Shredd and Ragan will be available for on-camera interviews at the event.
The party will have live performances by the Primary Alternative and Tiger Chung Lee, with DJ Tim Nowka spinning between sets. Food, beer, and full-service bars will be located on both the main floor and the upstairs level. The upstairs level will offer several new features for the year’s event, including beer and spirit tastings, snacks, thematic photos, and trick or treating.
The historic Connecticut St. Armory provides the backdrop for the spookiest evening of the year. First built in 1898 with red sandstone from the Medina stone quarry, the Armory burned down in 1982. The Medina quarry was re-opened and stone masons were brought over from Italy to rebuild the Armory with its iconic red walls.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.varietybuffalo.org, www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling the Variety Club Box office at 716-854-7577. Proceeds benefit the Variety Club of Buffalo, the region’s leading children’s charity.
